Wet felting is ideal for school projects, after school clubs, corporate team building and community events providing a creative bonding experience. creating 

 

I regularly run felt making workshops in schools, craft fairs and local events. My very first workshop at The Brighton Mini Maker Faire was to ''Wrap a Brighton Rock' - which involved creating a seamless felted casing using just wool, soap and water' I passed on my felting knowledge to 140 enthralled participants in one day from toddlers to seniors alike!

 

For school visits:

  • DBS checked and fully insured

  • Workshops tailored to your topics, from banners to baubles  pots to pebbles!

  • Suitable for reception through to year 6 and beyond

  • Ideally Groups of 10 to maximise focus and learning

  • One class can  be split into 3 groups for a one day session

My animal inspired costume wear provides a fantastic example of using this ancient technique in a fresh and exciting way.

I have provided felting sessions at schools in Brighton and the surrounding area including: Westdene Primary School, Somerville Junior School, Balfour Junior School, Down's Park School, St Lukes Primary School,  Manor Primary School and Lewes Old Grammar
